Essential Functions:
- Assess and maintain surgical and associated supply levels.
- Monitor use of supply and ensure changes to par levels and expected needs are met. Anticipate supply usage and maintain stock levels to appropriate needs.
- Use computer systems to order and track supplies across multiple vendors.
- Work closely with the operating team and Materials/Warehouse teams to ensure appropriate workflows and needs are met.
- Assist the team in bringing in new supplies for changes in procedures as well as removal of old supplies no longer in use.
- Monitoring expirations of supplies and ensure proper stock rotation to prevent expiration of supply.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
