How you'll contribute
A Medical Assistant, who excels in this role:
- Assists in the assessment of patient needs and health plan by taking vital signs, history, medication listing, assessing visual acuity and determining chief complaint.
- Completes all necessary documentation in the patient's medical record in accordance with practice's charting policy.
- Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
- Administers intramuscular and subcutaneous and intradermal injections.
- Maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment for patients and visitors. This includes cleaning, sterilizing, and storing instruments in accordance with practice policies. Stocks rooms in preparation for the daily work schedule. Takes inventory of medical and exam room supplies.

What we're looking for- a compassionate Medical Assistant with a deep understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring.
Applicants should have a current Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant license .Additional requirements include:
Basic Life Support certification is required
Prior experience in physician office is preferred
Phlebotomy certification is preferred
