About the Role
Highpoint Health with Ascension Saint Thomas is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our Family Wellness Clinic in Winchester, TN. This is a full-time, weekday position in an outpatient primary care setting, providing direct support to our clinical team and ensuring high-quality patient care.
What You'll Do
Support providers in delivering patient-centered care for approximately 30-35 patients per day
Perform clinical duties such as patient intake, vitals, charting, and assisting with exams or procedures
Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and ensure compliance with clinic policies and standards
Collaborate with the clinic team to promote a positive, efficient, and compassionate environment
Training & Support
Orientation: One week of general onboarding followed by one month of clinic-specific training with preceptor support
Qualifications
Required:
Current BLS certification
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) credential
Preferred: Prior outpatient or family medicine experience (not required)
