About the Role

Join our team as a Medical Assistant, where you'll play an essential role in providing compassionate, high-quality patient care while supporting the daily operations of our clinical practice. This position combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities, offering a dynamic environment for professionals who enjoy making a difference in patients' lives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians and nurses with patient assessments, exams, and treatments

  • Perform basic diagnostic procedures and collect laboratory specimens

  • Monitor and document changes in patient condition accurately and promptly

  • Maintain and prepare exam rooms, medical equipment, and supplies for daily operations

  • Support front-office functions, including scheduling, reception, data entry, and patient registration

  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care provided

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment at all times

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent - Required

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent - Required

Licensure/Certification:

  • Current CCMA, CMA, or RMA certification - Required

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - must be obtained within 60 days of hire

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong critical thinking, organization, and multitasking skills

  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and work effectively with minimal supervision

  • Professional, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
