About the Role
Join our team as a Medical Assistant, where you'll play an essential role in providing compassionate, high-quality patient care while supporting the daily operations of our clinical practice. Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians and nurses with patient assessments, exams, and treatments
Perform basic diagnostic procedures and collect laboratory specimens
Monitor and document changes in patient condition accurately and promptly
Maintain and prepare exam rooms, medical equipment, and supplies for daily operations
Support front-office functions, including scheduling, reception, data entry, and patient registration
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care provided
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment at all times
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent - Required
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent - Required
Licensure/Certification:
Current CCMA, CMA, or RMA certification - Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - must be obtained within 60 days of hire
Skills & Attributes:
Strong critical thinking, organization, and multitasking skills
Ability to exercise sound judgment and work effectively with minimal supervision
Professional, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
