About the Role
We're seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (PRN) to join our Premier Women's OB/GYN practice in Southern Tennessee. In this role, you'll provide both clinical and administrative support to ensure our patients receive exceptional care in a friendly, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do
Assist physicians and nurses with patient assessments, exams, and treatments
Perform basic diagnostic procedures and collect specimens for testing
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to clinical staff
Maintain exam rooms and medical equipment, ensuring readiness and cleanliness
Manage inventory of medical supplies and assist with ordering and restocking
Support the front office with scheduling, registration, and data entry
Accurately document patient care and maintain medical records
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent - Required
Graduate of an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program or equivalent - Required
Licensure/Certification:
Active CCMA, CMA, or RMA credential - Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - must be obtained within 60 days of hire
