How You'll Contribute
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (feeding, grooming, bathing, mobility, toileting)
- Provide support for patient monitoring and documentation
- Collaborate with nurses and healthcare staff to deliver safe and effective care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive patient environment
- Complete training and orientation with preceptor guidance (7-10 shifts)
What We're Looking For
- Certified Nursing Assistant, Tennessee license required
- American Heart Association BLS required
- Experience: New grads welcome; no prior long-term care or EMR experience required
- Qualities: Compassion, teamwork, adaptability, and a patient-first mindset
Unit Information
- Average Census: 60 patients daily
- Nurse to Patient Ratios: CNA 1:10 (days) | CNA 1:20 (nights)
- Bed Count: 88
- Acuity: High
- Average Length of Stay: 15 days
- Support Staff: Primarily CNAs
- Orientation: 7-10 shifts with preceptor support
