How you'll contribute

A Certified Nursing Assistant who excels in this role:

  • Participates in Patient Care Team's delivery of personalized, efficient care with respect for patient's spiritual and cultural differences.

  • Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness and cost in delivery of patient care.

  • Orients patient and family to room and call bell.

  • Upon admission, obtains initial vital signs, height and weight.

  • Records daily I & O, vital signs, and food intake into the electronic medical record.

  • transports patients via appropriate means in a safe and dignified manner. Adheres to patient activity restrictions.

  • Establishes positive relationships with patients/families and reports patient/family concerns accurately and concisely to appropriate care team members.

What we're looking for

  • Applicants should possess High School Diploma or GED

  • CNA licensed required

  • Basic Life Support or acquire within 3 months of hire

  • One year of acute care or one-year long-term care experience preferred
