JOB SUMMARY
The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. The CNA supports a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment and communicates changes in patient condition to the RN/LPN.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility)

• Provide basic patient care as delegated by the RN/LPN

• Observe and report changes in patient condition

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment

• Support patient comfort, dignity, and safety

• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams

MINIMUM EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent-REQUIRED

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification within-REQUIRED

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
Previous healthcare experience preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS, CERTIFICATIONS, AND LICENSURE
Certifications:

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
