How you'll contribute

A Certified Surgical Tech (Surg Tech) who excels in this role: 

• Makes an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

• Applies principles of asepsis to perform scrub duties for operative procedures.

What we're looking for

• Must have completed a Surgical Tech Program

• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent preferred 

• 1 to 2 years of surgical tech experience preferred 

• Must obtain CPR within 90 days of hire

• Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Canyon Vista Medical Center was founded in 1963 as Western Baptist Osteopathic Hospital on what was then the eastern edge of Sierra Vista. Growth and advancing technology dictated building the 177,000 square foot hospital at 5700 E Hwy 90.
