Position Summary:

Provide therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the discipline's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. A Clinical Coordinator assists with the daily coordination of personnel and resources within the scope of assignment. Acts as the liaison between the nursing departments and all of the ancillary departments to promote continuity of care, optimal patient outcomes, patient satisfaction, cost efficiency and compliance.

  • Be accountable for and contribute to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion
  • Oversight of therapists for Inpatient Acute Care and Outpatient Therapy (Adult and Pediatric).
  • Assist with process changes and implementation of strategic goals
  • Responsible for staff schedules and time card approvals
  • Responsible for awareness and oversight of department productivity
  • Assist with hiring of team members and onboarding process
  • Oversight of department charges.
  • Work closely with Rehab Director for therapy process improvement, department goals and initiatives
  • Point person for inpatient/outpatient therapists
  • Does include a portion of time in patient care

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A graduate of a program in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology approved by a nationally recognized accreditation body
  • An applicable and current state license
  • Experience in working with an adult and geriatric population is necessary
  • Experience serving people with physical disabilities in desirable
