How you'll contribute
- Responsible for ensuring that company approved programs are implemented and being provided consistently.
- Provides oversight to the therapists and provides feedback through the performance evaluation process and if necessary through counseling.
- Ensures that all interventions (individual, group, and family therapy) are performed and documented according to professional clinical standards.
- Actively participates in survey activities (TJC, Medicare, and licensing).
Coordinates performance improvement and completes monthly reporting. - Attends treatment team meetings on a regular basis.
- Ensures that clarification of the therapeutic role and treatment plan with the patient and family is completed.
- Actively participates in the complaint resolution process as needed.
Is responsible to collaborate with leadership team members related to hospital operations.

Qualifications and requirements
- Master's degree in social work or counseling required, current state licensure.
- Prior experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility working with adult and geriatric patients preferred. Must have strong clinical assessment skills.
- CPR and CPI certified within 30 days.
- May be required to work flexible hours and overtime, and ability to meet typing keyboard expectations. With proper credentials, Specialist may be required to complete vitals check on patients.
