We're seeking an experienced credentialing professional with delegated credentialing knowledge and at least three years of handson experience spanning both full cycle credentialing and payer enrollment. As the Lead, you'll play a key role in standing up a brandnew department, helping to shape workflows, build processes, and set the foundation for longterm success. Our credentialing team serves Lifepoint Health facilities across the country, partnering closely with providers and facility leaders to ensure seamless, timely, and compliant credentialing. How you'll contribute

The Team Lead is responsible for managing and providing oversight to a team in areas such as training, credentialing, and maintaining enrollment workflow processes.

  • Create training material, PowerPoint presentations, and collaborate on the creation of enrollment policies and procedures used by the Specialists and within the department.

  • Provide oversight and audit the quality of work produced by the team ensuring established processes and procedures are followed.

  • Maintain the general enrollment mailbox, the online enrollment systems data and processes, and distribute work to the Specialists as appropriate.

  • Lead credentialing efforts for facility practitioners to ensure authorizations and appropriate credentials to treat patients are current and recorded. 

  • Complete administration functions within the credentialing system.

  • Onboard, train, assist, coach and mentor new Specialists on department and Company specific processes, policies, and procedures.

  • Delegate work to the appropriate Specialist as it is received through the general department email. 

  • Update credentialing system with new practitioner applications and re-appointment applications to reflect accurate report data.

  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, or combination of education and experience required for the job. Additional requirements include:

  • 3+ years of Medical Staff Credentialing and Privileging experience.

  • Strong knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) guidelines.

  • Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Excell skills

  • Experience with MD-Staff a plus

  • Have a designated workstation in their home free from distractions.

  • Exhibit a general understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).

  • Skilled in the application of policies and procedures.

  • Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.

  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously including task delegation, project oversight, and resource allocation.

 

Pay range: $22.15 - $29.90 per hour.
