How you will contribute

The Desktop Specialist is the First line support for end users, troubleshoot technical problems with client hardware and desktop applications. Setup and train new users on basic of the IT environment as needed. Escalates issues to internal or external resources as needed. 

A Desktop Specialist who excels in this role:

  • Intermediate understanding of computer hardware and operating systems 

  • Basic understanding of network, server, and telephony systems Comptia A+ preferred 

  • Minimum Work Experience - 2-6 years relevant experience typical Essential Functions

  • Troubleshoot end user computer, peripheral hardware, network, and application issues

  • Troubleshooting multi-user impacting problems related to applications, network, security, etc.

  • Setup new employee workstations and train users on basic procedures 

  • Perform end user password reset and account unlocks

  • Routine security group management for applications

  • Escalation point for lower level team members

What we are looking for

High School Diploma Required

Associate's degree Preferred 

This position travels to offsite locations, must be able to transport client hardware such as computers, monitors, printers, etc. as needed and must be able to lift said items.
