How you'll contribute 

A Director of Clinical Services who excels in this role:

 

  • Is responsible for ensuring that the company approved programs are implemented and being provided consistently. 
  • Provides oversight to the therapists and provides feedback through the performance evaluation process and if necessary through counseling.
  • Ensures that all interventions (individual, group and family therapy) are performed and documented according to professional clinical standards.
  • Actively participates in survey activities (TJC, Medicare and licensing).
  • Coordinates performance improvement and completes monthly reporting.
  • Attends treatment team meetings on a regular basis.
  • Ensures that clarification of the therapeutic role and treatment plan with the patient and families is completed
  • Actively participates in the complaint resolution process as needed.
  • Is responsible to collaborate with leadership team members related to hospital operations.

What we're looking for  
 Applicants should have a Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work (required). Additional requirements include:

  • Previous experience in inpatient psychiatric healthcare required. A knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles required. Previous management experience at Director level preferred.
  • A current, unencumbered clinical social work license (LCSW) is required.
  • CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training within 30 days of employment or prior to any patient contact.
