Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital offers compassionate, high-quality inpatient and outpatient mental health and co-occurring treatment for teens, adults, and seniors. We provide a full-range of evidence-based medical and clinical services in a state-of-the-art healing environment. Programs include inpatient mental health and co-occurring treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).

How you'll contribute 

The Director of Outpatient Services provides strategic and operational oversight of all outpatient clinical programs serving individuals with psychiatric and substance use disorders. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, integrated clinical care through supervision of individual, group, and family therapy services, development and implementation of evidence-based treatment modalities, and coordination of discharge planning to support successful transitions of care. The Director is responsible for regulatory compliance, accurate and timely clinical documentation, staff supervision and development, quality and performance improvement initiatives, and collaboration with internal departments and community referral partners to support continuity of care and positive patient outcomes.

What we're looking for 

Applicants should have

  • Master's degree from an accredited school of social work is required. 
    • Or is qualified by education and experience in the social services needs of patients with psychiatric and substance use issues.
  • A current unencumbered clinical social work license (LCSW) or counseling license is required. 

     

  • CPR certification and Handle with Care within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact. 
  • Previous experience in outpatient healthcare, psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles required.

     

  • Previous management experience at the Director level preferred.

Salary range: $111, 300.00 - $150, 238.40
