Position Summary

The Service Worker - EVS creates a sanitary and safe environment while enhancing the overall appearance of the facility. This role is responsible for cleaning patient rooms and designated areas, maintaining supplies, and ensuring all environmental services procedures and infection control standards are followed.

Reports To: Director of Environmental Services
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Education:
High School Diploma preferred

Licensure:

Certifications:
N/A

Minimum Work Experience:
Previous clinical housekeeping experience preferred.

Essential Job Functions

• Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Follows policies and procedures regarding patient isolation.
• Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated.
• Maintains carts and equipment in clean, working condition and stores them appropriately at the end of the shift.
