Position Summary:
The goal of this team member is to provide superior customer service to both patients and other staff members. Responsibilities include:
Greet patients and handle check-in/check-out process, including use of Clockwise system
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively and courteously handle patient and family interactions and interactions with other staff.
Ensures that all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered in the registration system with timeliness and accuracy.
Collect patient payments
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of insurance/medical terms and policies preferred but not required.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Familiarity with the use of Microsoft Office Suite; ability to utilize practice management, EMR, and Clockwise software accurately and efficiently.
- Professional appearance and manner.
