CPP Surgical Specialties is seeking a full-time Front Office Assistant for the CPG OB/GYN. The FOA is responsible for assisting Physician's in providing good customer service and direction to all patients within the CPG physician office. This ensures quality health care and patient satisfaction to meet the needs of patient care within the Physician's office. This position has contact with adolescent patients through geriatric patients.

Essential Responsibilities:
Answers phones, displaying a pleasant demeanor and employing organizational standards.
Schedules patient appointments per provider routine.
Updates demographic/insurance information at each visit.
Performs patient check in and check out processes.
Responsible for obtaining ABN information so visits can be billed appropriately.
Ensures patients get any needed orders when checking out/ schedules as needed.
Collects co-payments at time of service and accurately post payments to patient account
Completes the End of day process per DLP Conemaugh Physician Practices Revenue Cycle Guidelines following DLP Conemaugh Physician Practices Segregation of Duties policy.
Works front desk queues.
Scans documents to the patient's chart.
Completes/ faxes forms, obtain provider signatures.
Controls Drug Representative Traffic flow.
Orients new staff as assigned.
Travels to satellite locations.
Job Qualifications:
Education:
Required: High School Diploma.
Preferred: Certification of Medical Secretary, Medical Office Assistant or Medical Office Technician, knowledge of ICD-10/CPT coding, medical terminology.
Experience:
Preferred: Experience working in the medical field either in a Physician's office, clinic, comparable related medical setting.
Certification/Licensure/Registration:
Preferred: Certification of a Medical Secretary, MOA or MOT; CPR certification.
