As a member of the Lifepoint Business Services (LBS) team, you'll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier ®.

More about our team

Our Lifepoint Business Services (LBS) team is leading a large-scale transformation to standardize and modernize enterprise processes across Finance, Supply Chain, and People Services. This team plays a critical role in driving Oracle optimization, automation, and integration efforts-especially as we prepare to onboard newly acquired facilities. If you're passionate about building scalable, high-impact processes and influencing change at an enterprise level, you'll find meaningful work here.

How you'll contribute

A GPO who excels in this role:

  • Own and lead the end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) process across a multi-entity, enterprise environment

  • Drive financial close transformation, reducing close cycle time (current ~14-15 days → target ~8 days)

  • Standardize:

    • General ledger processes

    • Chart of accounts across facilities

    • Financial reporting and consolidation practices

  • Lead Oracle ERP transformation efforts across R2R (design, implementation, optimization)

  • Establish and enforce balance sheet reconciliation governance and controls

  • Identify and remediate control gaps and compliance risks (pre-SOX maturity environment)

  • Develop and implement KPIs, SLAs, and performance dashboards for R2R processes

  • Drive automation initiatives (journal entry automation, close optimization, reduced manual processes)

  • Lead M&A integration activities for finance processes, including:

    • Day 1 readiness

    • Process standardization

    • System/data integration

  • Partner with Finance, IT, and Shared Services leadership to ensure end-to-end process alignment

  • Serve as the enterprise authority for R2R, influencing cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Additional qualifications include:

  • Process improvement certification required (Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, or equivalent)

  • 12-15+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles

  • Deep expertise in Record-to-Report processes (close, GL, reconciliations, consolidation)

  • Proven experience leading enterprise financial close transformation initiatives

  • Oracle ERP experience REQUIRED (no exceptions)

  • Experience in multi-entity, shared services / GBS environments

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial controls frameworks

  • Demonstrated experience supporting M&A integrations and system harmonization

  • Process improvement certification required (Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, or equivalent)

  • Strong experience with:

    • Process standardization

    • KPI development and performance management

    • Automation and continuous improvement

  • Ability to operate as a strategic, enterprise-level process owner (not just functional leader)

  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
