More about our team

Sovah Health is a regional health care delivery system with 2 hospital campuses - Danville and Martinsville. Each facility has a 24/7 Emergency Room, Outpatient Imaging Center, and over 20 primary and specialty care physician clinics. Our Danville location is also a teaching hospital that trains medical students and physician residents specializing in family and internal medicine.

How you'll contribute

A Housekeeper who excels in this role: 

• Maintains a safe and clean environment including cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the Surgical Unit, including procedural areas, patient rooms, offices, rest rooms, corridors, floors, and other areas as assigned. 
• Follows established cleaning and disinfecting methods. Adheres to all safety protocols and health regulations. 
• Assists in the turnover cleaning of the operating room. 
• Orders and stocks supplies and linens. 
• Transports and delivers surgical specimens according to hospital protocol.

What we're looking for
