How you'll contribute
Responsible for ensuring that company approved programs are implemented and being provided consistently.
Provides oversight to the therapists and provides feedback through the performance evaluation process and if necessary through counseling.
Ensures that all interventions (individual, group, and family therapy) are performed and documented according to professional clinical standards.
Actively participates in survey activities (TJC, Medicare, and licensing).
Coordinates performance improvement and completes monthly reporting.
Attends treatment team meetings on a regular basis.
Ensures that clarification of the therapeutic role and treatment plan with the patient and family is completed.
Actively participates in the complaint resolution process as needed.
Is responsible to collaborate with leadership team members related to hospital operations.

Qualifications and requirements
Education: Master's degree from an accredited school of social work is required.
Experience: Previous experience in inpatient psychiatric healthcare required.
A knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles required.
Previous management experience at the Director level preferred.
License: A current unencumbered clinical social work license (LCSW) is required. In the absence of LCSW credentials, qualification for this position is contingent on the Hospital employing another LCSW per CMS' Condition of Participation guidelines.
Additional Requirements: CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
