UofL Health - Frazier Rehabilitation - Brownsboro is a state-of-the-art, 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness.

Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

Position Summary

Provides patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Required Skills

• Minimum six months experience Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication an interpersonal skills.
• IV certified required or obtainwithin 6 months highly preferred

Education:

• High School Diploma required
• Graduate of a accredited licensed practical/vocational nurse program

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Licenses:

• LPN/LVN licensed to work in the State of Kentucky.
