Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

$10,000 Sign-on Bonus with two (2) year commitment to that role. Open to external applicates who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.

 

Status/FTE: FT / 1.0 FTE

Shift length: 8 hours

Start Time: 0800

Unit: Cancer Center

Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Monday-Friday No weekdays, no holidays and no call

 

Required qualifications: 

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Licensed or eligible for licensing in State of Montana as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Current BLS upon hire, Healthcare Provider BLS within 3 months of hire
  • One (1) to Two (2) years of nursing experience

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • In office surgical procedure experience

 

Additional Information/Department information: The LPN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor and positive role model and teacher for assistive personnel. The LPN is knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions and pharmacological agents.
