Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours a week

How you'll contribute 

A Mammography Technologist who excels in this role performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail under the direction of the Leader of Imaging Services, Radiologist and Supervisor.

• The Lead Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
• The Lead Mammography Technologist assumes responsibility for designated area or procedures as required.
• Lead Mammography technologist is responsible for daily operations of mammography department, procures supplies, maintains schedules, responsible for PI and ACR, MQSA guidelines. 
• Adheres to hospital polices and Standards of Behavior guidelines.

What we're looking for 
Applicants should hold an associates degree in a program of discipline (required qualifications). Additional requirements include:

• A State Radiologic lieense; A.R.R.T certification; Mammography certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required through American Heart Association upon hire.
