Medical Assistant (MA)

Job Type: PRN | Days variable hours to support clinic staffing.

How you'll contribute

Clinic MA who excels in this role:

  • Under the supervision of physicians or nurses, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments. 
  • Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communication changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given. 
  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas.
  • Perform administrative or clerical duties assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

 

What we're looking for

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Graduate of accredited medical assistance program or equivalent Required
  • License: CCMA, CMA or RMA
  • Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. 
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. This is Fast paced, busy clinic. Large group of physicians
  • Minimum Work Experience: One-year related experience, preferred. One year clinic experience, preferred.
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Basic Life Support (BLS).
