How you'll contribute
A Medical Technologist who excels in this role:
- Follows standardized procedures and prepares patient samples for testing.
- Collects and analyzes bodily fluids and substances for abnormalities, including blood samples for transfusions.
- Operates laboratory equipment safely and effectively.
- Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits; reports and documents findings according to organizational standards.
- Performs automated testing using computerized instruments and equipment.
- Conducts Quality Assurance to ensure accuracy and reliability of equipment and results.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for
The Medical Technologist must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. The requirements listed below are below representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Science preferred.
- License: /Certifications: Medical Technologist licensure through ASCP or AMT preferred (licensure must reflect education requirements).
