More about our team:

We are housed in a brand-new outpatient gym where our rehab team is committed to community outreach including hosting a monthly stroke support group. We offer one-on-one patient interactions, a strong team culture, rotating weekends, and opportunities for growth and development.  We balance new techniques and specialties including dry needling, certified hand therapy, and FEES, with a personalized, community-focused approach to healthcare.

How you will contribute:

An Occupational Therapist (OT) who excels in this role:

• Performs comprehensive patient evaluations and re-evaluations consistent with patient needs and capabilities
• Selects appropriate activities suited to patient's physical, mental, social abilities and adapts program in response to patient and/ or family goals
• Provides quality in and outpatient occupational therapy treatments
• Educates and provides effective communication skills with patients, family members, and inter-department staff as needed
• Communicates with physicians on a regular basis concerning pt. treatments, response to care
• Plans and initiates treatment programs in accordance with OT's scope of practice

What we are looking for:

Graduate of an AOTA accredited OT program or equivalent.

Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Completes obligatory hospital in-services and continuing education for licensure

BLS required.
