How you'll contribute 

• Design the appropriate plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment.
• Implement the treatment plan using appropriate modalities. 
• Document subjective and objective findings of patient progress.
•  Monitor and modify the plan of care as needed. 
• Seek consultation as necessary. 
• Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits. 
• Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.
•  Provide information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs. 
• Supervise and delegates the care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards.

Qualifications and requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
•  Required License: State Licensure for Occupational Therapy
•  Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
