Sovah Health's cancer program has maintained the longest continual accreditation in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Our team provides compassionate cancer care and support that is close to home for our community.

Sovah Health is a regional health care delivery system with 2 hospital campuses - Danville and Martinsville. Each facility has a 24/7 Emergency Room, Outpatient Imaging Center, and over 20 primary and specialty care physician clinics. Our Danville location is also a teaching hospital that trains medical students and physician residents specializing in family and internal medicine.

How you'll contribute

An Office Coordinator who excels in this role:

• Responsible for front end operations, including patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification.
• Functions as first-line support for electronic health record to include basic trouble shooting, merging duplicate charts, unlocking charts, adding pharmacy and practice information to the database, etc. record.

What we're looking for 

Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent. 

• Previous experience in a medical or physician practice setting is required. 
• Experience with insurance verification and preauthorization process is highly preferred.
