How you'll contribute

Under supervision of an RN, the patient safety companion provides continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients identified as safety risks.The PSC assists in the provision of a safe and clean environment, keeping the patient safe by always observing patient.Report observations in physical, mental, or emotional conditions to nursing staff.Communicate with the RN caring for the patient throughout your shift.

What we're looking for

• Minimum Education and Certifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent - desired
  • Certification as a Surgical Technician and/or graduation from an approved OR Technician program preferred. (Required for certified position.)
  • Affiliations: Association of Surgical Technologists, national or local level
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire and maintain thereafter
