You'll also complete chain‑of‑custody collections, breath alcohol testing, and help maintain essential phlebotomy supplies.
What You'll Do:
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, communicates effectively, and can work independently while maintaining accuracy and compassion. You'll interact with patients across all age groups and play a key role in ensuring high‑quality laboratory results. If you're ready to make a meaningful impact and grow your skills in a supportive clinical setting, we'd love to meet you.
What we're looking for

BLS
How you'll contribute
Review provider orders, quick register patients when needed, and enter accurate laboratory orders based on requisitions.
Verify patient identity using two identifiers and collect blood (venipuncture, finger/heel sticks) and other specimens (urine, throat, nasal) according to policy.
Label all specimens with required identifiers, date/time, and collector initials; ensure proper handling, integrity, and routing to internal departments or reference labs.
Perform chain of custody urine drug screens and breath alcohol testing; coordinate therapeutic drug monitoring draws with nursing to align dose and collection times.
Resolve unclear or unusual test orders by communicating with providers, nursing, pathology, or reference labs, escalating unresolved issues to the supervisor.
Maintain supply par levels and weekly inventory, participate in performance improvement and required education, and perform additional duties as assigned.
