How you'll contribute
The Phlebotomist is responsible for the accurate collection, labeling, and processing of blood specimens for laboratory testing in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role requires proficiency in age-appropriate venipuncture techniques, adherence to safety and infection control protocols, and the ability to work independently under pressure. The Phlebotomist also assists in maintaining equipment and supplies, supports blood drive coordination including donor screening, and ensures timely delivery of specimens to the laboratory. Reporting to the Director of Laboratory, the position demands critical thinking, sound judgment, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have
High School Diploma and/or equivalent with Formal Phlebotomy training
An approved nationally accredited training course in Phlebotomy preferred
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
Certification from ASCP or NHA preferred
Lab Assistant state licensure within six (6) months of hire
Point of Care Analyst to be obtained after hire
