Schedule: this is a full-time, night shift position that will work 8-12-hour shifts depending on schedule. Schedules include: 6:00 am to 4:30 pm; 8:00 am to 6:30 pm; 12 pm to 10:30 pm; 10:00 pm to 8:30 am

How you'll contribute

A Phlebotomist who excels in this role:

  • Collects specimens per state licensure, greets customers, and works collaboratively with other departments.
  • Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.
  • Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
  • Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.

What we're looking for

  • Required Licensure: NV Department of Health and Human Services - Laboratory Assistant License (requires application submitted upon hire. Status "pending" for up to 6 months) or must attend a certified Phlebotomy program to obtain licensure. NV Department of Health and Human Services - Point of Care Analyst within one year of hire.
  • Required Certification:  American Heart Association BLS within 60 days upon hire.
