Highland Springs is a behavioral health hospital located in Highland Hills, OH, part of the greater Cleveland area. We provide high-quality compassionate care for those facing mental health and addiction challenges.

Programs include inpatient mental health and addiction treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).

How you'll contribute  

A Phlebotomist who excels in this role: 

  • Collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory.
  • Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.
  • Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
  • Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors. 

What we're looking for 
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.  Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients preferred.
  • Certifications: CPR and de‑escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.
