Physician Clinic Scheduler

Job Title: Physician Clinic Scheduler- FT, Onsite 

Pay Scale: $16-$19

How you'll contribute 

Performs scheduling, prior authorization and routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned office.

• Responsible for scheduling surgeries, confirming procedures with pre-authorization, insurance verification and admissions. 
• Responsible for organizing and communication of surgery schedule. Notifies all those involved of changes, emergencies and add on procedures.
•  Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including reception, scheduling, patient registration, and assisting provider.

Qualifications and requirements 

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Requires prior physician office or business office experience.
•  Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. 
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
