Westpark Springs is a mental health and addiction treatment center located at 6902 S Peek Road in Richmond, Texas. It offers both inpatient and outpatient services for adults, adolescents, and children dealing with psychiatric, substance use, or co-occurring disorders.

How you'll contribute:

Collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory.
Essential Functions
Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.
Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.

Qualifications and requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred; An approved nationally accredited training course in Phlebotomy Preferred
Licenses: Certification from ASCP or NHA Preferred
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire
Formal Phlebotomy training Preferred
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
