How you'll contribute

A Business Development Regional Director who excels in this role:

  • Provides training expertise and functions as a resource to hospital in developing marketing plans.
  • Trains Clinical Liaison and other marketing professionals for effective Referral Development.
  • In conjunction with the ADO, assesses performance of Clinical Liaisons and other marketing positions in implementing marketing plans and takes or recommends corrective actions as necessary.
  • Assures hospital has processes in place as required by the corporate compliance agreement.
  • Completes special project requests as directed by the Division President, Division Vice President.
  • Performs marketplace and hospital assessments to identify potential opportunities and clear understanding of branding equity.
  • Measures effectiveness of marketing and sales activities, including financial viability of contracts and goal projections.
  • Assists, by providing technical expertise and leadership, in product and service differentiation.



 

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in business, marketing or healthcare administration, master's degree preferred. Additional qualifications include:

  • Minimum of five years' experience in healthcare marketing and sales management functions for multiple hospital locations (5 or more). 
  • Preferred experience in managing the sales and marketing function for hospitals located in multiple states. Over five years of actual hands-on sales experience. 
  • Direct responsibility for leading, training and managing sales teams. 
  • Experience in leading, training and driving the referral through admissions sales process. 
  • Experienced in leading the Region and hospital teams in the development of comprehensive strategic marketing plans.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, word-processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work under stress and in emergency situations.
