Our Behavioral Health team works in a 150-bed inpatient facility designed to foster healing, safety, and innovation. With a 1:6-1:8 nurse-to-patient ratio, you'll benefit from balanced assignments and a collaborative, supportive team culture. We prioritize work-life balance while delivering compassionate care across child, adult, geriatric, and forensic populations.
How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role will:
Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient
Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
Be responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
Perform timely and accurate QI assessments
What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current RN license in the state of Massachusetts and graduate from an accredited nursing program. Additional requirements include:
Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN accepted
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
ACLS certification preferred
CPI or Handle With Care certification preferred
CRRN certification preferred
Minimum of 6 months Med/Surg experience preferred
Behavioral Health or Psychiatric experience preferred
Strong communication, assessment, and de-escalation skills
Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and focused under pressure
Commitment to patient-centered and trauma-informed care
Schedule
Part-Time: 12 hr Shifts (7a-7p), rotating weekends
