How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiac Rehab who excels in this role:
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment
Documents patient care given
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient
What we're looking for is a Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiac Rehab who is responsible for providing direct care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice with these qualifications:
Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include:
NM RN licensure or appropriate RN Compact licensure
Current BLS upon hire
New hires will have ninety (90) days from date of hire to obtain American Heart Association certifications
ACLS must be obtained within six (6) months of hire or transfer into position
One year of experience preferred
Schedule: Part Time Days
