Department/Unit Summary 
This role involves independently managing HSC-level projects related to third-party support and clinical informatics, with a focus on implementing and optimizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Cerner. Key responsibilities include leading change management efforts, developing and executing best practices, facilitating system builds and testing, and providing training and support to end users. The position also drives enhancements related to CPOE, clinical documentation, and specialized care areas, ensuring alignment with LifePoint and industry standards to support high-quality patient care. Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors is essential to keep projects on track, while maintaining adherence to scope, timelines, and regulatory guidelines. Regular and reliable attendance is required.

How you'll contribute
The Clinical Informaticist implements strategies focused on the adoption of Meditech for use in the Acute Care areas. Leads development of workflow centric processes by physicians, clinicians, therapists, and others at LifePoint's facilities by actively collaborating with internal departments within the Health Support Center (HSC) to assure clinical processes and workflow requirements are met within the Meditech solution. Serves both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors.

Qualifications and requirements
