How you'll contribute
A RN Coordinator who excels in this role:
- Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations.
- Identifies and resolves issues affecting delivery of clinical services and patient flow.
- Performs quality assurance studies and assists with implementation of QA/QI initiatives.
- Serves as a resource to staff and external contacts regarding clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
- Monitors departmental compliance with accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission requirements.
- Provides direct patient care as needed in accordance with scope and standards of practice.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Provides quality patient care and works other shifts/units as needed; may be assigned on-call.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for
- Education: Associate's degree required. BSN preferred.
- Licenses: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with the State of Tennessee or a licensed Registered Nurse from a Compact State with the proper Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.
- BCLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred; Handle with Care preferred
- Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Proficiency navigating multiple clinical software systems
- Effective English communication (read, write, speak, and understand).
- Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.

The Hospital
STRHS - Pulaski is part of the Southern Tennessee Regional Health System, a regional network of hospitals and healthcare services serving communities in southern Tennessee. The Pulaski campus provides inpatient and outpatient services to Giles County and the surrounding area at its 95-bed, Joint Commission-accredited acute care facility and physician practices.
