How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
- Prioritizes and organizes delivery of nursing care, accepting a variety of assignments and consulting with other disciplines as appropriate.
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
- Assists in staff development activities, including orienting, instructing and training others, emphasizing departmental, as well as interdepartmental cooperation and teamwork.
- Demonstrates sensitivity to patient's comfort and privacy and expresses interest in their progress and aids patients and families as needed in times of stress or crisis.
- community resources, involves family and/or significant other in plan of care.
- Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Documents patient care given.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

What we're looking for
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year Acute Care Experience, preferably in Oncology
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BCLS required.
