Registered Nurse (RN) Outpatient Surgery

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

On call rotation nights and weekends - must live within 20 minutes of the hospital

How you'll contribute 

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role will:  

· Be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients. 

· Communicate with patients, family members and physicians frequently while providing excellent customer service and care. 

· Supervise, coordinate, and delegate patient care in a manner which ensures that patient needs are provided in an efficient manner, in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and scope of practice by position. 

· Evaluating the total care for Outpatient Surgery patients as delegated by the supervisor

What we're looking for 

Applicants must have a current VA or compact RN license.  Additional requirements include:  

  • BLS required within 30 days of hire, or prior to completion of orientation if 30 days before hire 
  • ACLS required within 6 months
  • PALS required within 6 months
  • Advanced Stroke Course preferred 
  • Operating Room/Endoscopy experience preferred
  • Ability to take call; Must live within 20 minutes of the hospital
