More about our team

Our Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Unit includes 90 beds-20 dedicated to short-term rehabilitation and 70 to long-term care. Our interdisciplinary team consists of Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Medication Aides who work collaboratively to provide high-quality, person-centered care.

As an RN Supervisor, you will oversee nursing operations on your assigned shift, coordinate resident care, support staff performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, supportive, and high‑quality care environment for residents and staff.

 

How you'll contribute

An RN Supervisor who excels in this role:

  • Performs comprehensive resident assessments and develops individualized care plans
  • Implements, evaluates, and revises care plans based on resident needs and clinical changes
  • Coordinates admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure smooth transitions
  • Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support resident care
  • Provides clear communication and education to residents and families
  • Oversees medication administration, treatments, and clinical procedures
  • Ensures accurate, timely, and complete documentation
  • Assigns and supervises LPNs and CNAs, ensuring competency and adherence to standards
  • Supports orientation, training, and ongoing development of nursing staff
  • Investigates concerns, resolves issues, and implements corrective actions
  • Maintains equipment, supplies, and a safe, organized work environment
  • Participates in process improvement, regulatory readiness, and quality initiatives
  • Serves as Charge Nurse when assigned, coordinating staffing and unit operations
  • Demonstrates professionalism, calm leadership, and strong resident advocacy

What we're looking for

A compassionate, organized nursing professional with strong clinical judgment, leadership capability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality resident care.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current, unencumbered RN license in North Carolina (or multistate)
  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing Education program
  • Current BLS certification

     

  • Previous supervisory/leadership experience (preferred)
