How you'll contribute 

A Rehabilitation Aide who excels in this role:

• Perform rehabilitation/restorative nursing interventions that assist or promote the patient's ability to attain his or her maximum functional potential

• Report patient responses to interventions and condition to the nurse, supervising therapist(s), or assistant.

• Participate in facility/unit quality management activities.

• Collect quality review data.

• Participate in survey preparation activities.

• Participates in facility/unit safety committee activities

• Contribute to the delivery of cost-effective care.

• Assist in formalized discipline specific and interdisciplinary group activities.

• Participates in continuing education/professional development activities

• Communicate and demonstrate a professional image/attitude for patients, families, clients, coworkers and others

• Adhere to policies and practices of applicable professional organizations, client hospital and Kindred Healthcare.

• Contribute to client relations and marketing activities.

• Maintain competency.

• Participate in team meetings.

• Contribute to development of improved efficiency and productivity of unit clinical/administrative functions

What we're looking for 

• Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Experience: Six months experience as a Rehab Tech or Restorative Nursing Aide in a hospital or long-term care environment preferred.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) is required

Hourly range: $17.13 - $21.85
