How you'll contribute:
A Respiratory Therapist (CRT) who excels in this role:
Assists respiratory therapists with preparing for and providing patient care.
Delivers routine therapy as delegated by a therapist.
Responds to codes and calls for emergent assistance.
Assesses patient condition and delivers appropriate treatment.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition.
Educates the patient and family about the patient's illness and provides information about community support groups and other resources.
Monitors, receives, stocks, and distributes respiratory care supplies and medical gas cylinders.
Maintains storage areas with required supply levels and equipment.
Disassembles, cleans, and sterilizes equipment, and performs preventative maintenance and calibration of machines.

What we are looking for:
Certified Respiratory Care Therapist; Valid and Current State Board of Respiratory Care
(BLS) Basic Life Support required one month from hire/transfer date.
(ACLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support six months from hire/transfer date.
(PALS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support six months from hire/transfer date.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
