How you'll contribute 

A Sleep Technician who excels in this role:

1. Prepares for the arrival of the patient by setting up and preparing the equipment for the ordered test.
2. Interviews patient to determine sleep disorder issues and to explain testing procedures.
3. Performs testing and any additional testing required for sleep disorder that is noted.
4. Scores, interprets, and reports results of sleep studies. Educates patients about test results, sleep disorders, community support groups, and available resources.
5. Prepares, calibrates, repairs, and maintains equipment required for testing. Determines and reports needed repairs and replacements.
6. Maintains proper supplies to care for patients.
7. Other tasks and duties as assigned.

What we're looking for 
Applicants should be a graduate of a program in discipline and are registered with NC Medical Board and Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (is are required qualifications). Additional requirements include:

1. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.
