What we're looking for 

Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Reports to the Director of Surgery/OR.

Minimum Requirements

Required Skills:

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. 

• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

   

   

  Physical Requirements: 

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; Graduate of a surgical technology program required.

Required Certifications/Licenses:

• Surgical tech certification required,  BCLS preferred.

Required Work Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months prior experience in another facility preferred.
