Position Summary:

his is a Nursing position that provides delivery of patient care with the knowledge of a Registered Nurse. Must demonstrate the clinical ability to work as a Primary RN in the office assigned. Must be able to coordinate the delivery of patient care; completes required documentation; participates in patient/family teaching and discharge planning, effectively utilizing the Nursing Process. Provides leadership by working cooperatively and effectively with physicians, ancillary staff and other administrative and support personnel in maintaining the standards of professional nursing practice in the multidisciplinary clinical setting. Maintains quality delivery of patient care by completing patient assignments in compliance with the Nursing Process, the Arizona Nurse Practice Act, The Joint 
Commission, State regulations and established Hospital Policies and Procedures. Strives daily to give all customers very good care and promotes Havasu Regional Medical Centers’ Standards of Behavior and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Must have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Effective human relations skills are required for interfacing with team members, all levels of staff, physicians, patients, families and other contacts. Must possess the ability to effectively function in a stressful environment. Must possess the ability to use the following equipment; Telephone/Overhead Paging System/Fax Machine/Calculator/Computer. As pertinent to the position, must be able to use computer, telephone, calculator and adapt to new technology as it becomes available and necessary for the job. Must have a positive attitude, even temperament in stress/conflict situations.

Must be proficient in IV skills, Central line care, Venous Access Device, and Phlebotomy.

Certifications:
X Basic Life Support (BCLS) required within 30 days of hire
Required Skills
Licenses: Valid RN license in the State of Arizona OR Compact State required on hire
