We are currently seeking a Hospitality Aide / Resident Helper to join our Post-Acute team. This role is ideal for individuals who want to make a difference in patient care while gaining valuable healthcare experience.

Unit Snapshot

  • Average Census: 60 ADC

  • Ratios: Nurse 1:20 | CNA 1:10 (days), 1:20 (nights)

  • Bed Count: 88

  • Acuity: High

  • Length of Stay (LOS): ~15 days

  • Support: CNA-heavy teams

  • Orientation: 7-10 shifts with a preceptor

Job Summary
Under the supervision of an RN or LPN, the Hospitality Aide performs basic, non-clinical patient care activities that support our nursing staff and enhance the patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Make beds, pass hydration and snack, clean wheelchairs, and restock supplies

  • Pick up and return water pitchers and assist with keeping rooms and common areas neat and orderly

  • Observe CNAs as they assist patients with personal care and daily living activities

  • Report any abnormal findings or changes in a patient's condition to nursing staff

  • Support nursing staff by ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

  • Strong judgment and critical thinking skills

  • Compassionate and dependable team player

Physical Requirements
This role requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and assisting with patient and non-patient items up to 75 lbs. Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and communicable diseases may occur; all safety protocols and protective equipment are provided.
