Average Census: 60 ADC
Ratios: Nurse 1:20 | CNA 1:10 (days), 1:20 (nights)
Bed Count: 88
Acuity: High
Length of Stay (LOS): ~15 days
Support: CNA-heavy teams
Orientation: 7-10 shifts with a preceptor
Job Summary
Under the supervision of an RN or LPN, the Hospitality Aide performs basic, non-clinical patient care activities that support our nursing staff and enhance the patient experience.
Responsibilities
Make beds, pass hydration and snack, clean wheelchairs, and restock supplies
Pick up and return water pitchers and assist with keeping rooms and common areas neat and orderly
Observe CNAs as they assist patients with personal care and daily living activities
Report any abnormal findings or changes in a patient's condition to nursing staff
Support nursing staff by ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Strong judgment and critical thinking skills
Compassionate and dependable team player
Physical Requirements
This role requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and assisting with patient and non-patient items up to 75 lbs. Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and communicable diseases may occur; all safety protocols and protective equipment are provided.
