Copper Springs is located in Avondale, Arizona, is a 72-bed behavioral health hospital. It offers both inpatient and outpatient services for adults, adolescents, and their families. The facility provides a range of treatments for mental health and addiction issues. How you'll contribute

A Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) who excels in this role:

Supporting the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN, by ensuring that the schedule/program is consistently delivered, patients are supervised, that safety is maintained, and patients and guests are treated with respect and dignity.

What we're looking for an applicant with passion about patient care and 21 years of age or older.

• Education: High school degree preferred.
• License: Will require valid driver's license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using personal or hospital owned vehicle.
• Certifications: CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
• Additional Requirements: Completion of additional age specific training within 30 days of employment as required. Must be at least 21 years of age. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime. Where applicable, must obtain and maintain agency affiliation.
• Experience: Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.
